Roberto De Zerbi has spoken to Julio Enciso’s national team coach as he hopes to see the Paraguay forward enjoy a big summer.

Enciso was a constant threat in the No.10 role as Albion drew 1-1 at Newcastle and will play for Paraguay at this summer’s Copa America.

De Zerbi said: “I think it can be important for him.

“Yesterday (Friday) evening, I met the coach of Paraguay.

“We spoke for ten minutes about Julio.

“I think it can be important for him, first of all, because he plays for his country and he has to be proud.

“It is an honour in every situation – a friendly game or the Copa America.

“And, secondly, he can improve the physical condition, the confidence to find the best condition to restart next season.

“Next season for him is important because he missed too many games.”
