Eastbourne Eagles could track two league teams next season with regular meetings on Grand Prix nights.
Eagles are considering entering a young line-up in the third tier Conference League.
Co-promoter Martin Hagon sees it as the next step in his drive, in partnership with Eagles legend Martin Dugard, to develop young riders at Arlington.
Eagles have not yet applied to join the Conference but Hagon is consulting key figures within the club’s youth section.
He said: “We have riders coming through who will need Conference League racing.
“It would be an ideal step to take our youth development forward.”
Home meetings would be staged on Saturday nights when Grands Prix are taking place.
