Eastbourne Eagles will receive a transfer fee of £29,000 plus VAT from Coventry for rider Edward Kennett following the decision of an arbitration panel today.
The Eagles valued Kennett, 22 and third best British rider in the league according to averages, at £40,000 while Coventry Bees offered £15,000.
Kennett has been riding for Bees this season after requesting a move during the winter.
