Caroline Wozniacki clinched her fifth WTA Tour title after beating Virginie Razzano in the final of the AEGON Interntational.
The 18-year-old Dane lived up to her billing as favourite by overcoming the French world No.25 7-6, 7-5 at Devonshire Park.
Wozniacki took control of the first set when she broke Razzano's serve to lead 4-2 but Razzano fought back to force a tie-break. Wozniacki raced into a 6-1 lead in the tie-break and eventually took it 7-5 when Razzano put a drop shot into the net.
Razzano dropped her serve in the first game of the second set but again fought back and even earned a set point on the Wozniacki serve at 5-4.
She was unable to take it though and Wozniacki broke in the next game before going on to serve out for the match.
