Nicky Forster has put his friendship with Phil Parkinson on hold as he looks for another bonus goal against Charlton tonight.
Forster and Charlton chief Parkinson are pals from their time together at both Reading and Hull but the talismanic marksman’s only concern for 90 minutes at Withdean is helping Albion to a much-needed win.
Forster said: “I played with him at Reading. I was there for six years and he was there for the majority of that time. He was a fantastic servant for them.
“He then signed me when he was manager of Hull. I have got a good relationship with him and speak to him at times for advice and things but not at the moment!”
