Charles Ademeno is expected to lead Crawley’s attack at play-off rivals Kettering tomorrow despite continued interest in the £100,000-rated striker.
Swindon, MK Dons and Southampton have all had bids turned down by boss Steve Evans, who is also talking to an un-named Scottish Premier League club about the 21-year-old who has scored six goals in his last five games. Evans said that discussions were continuing ahead of Monday’s 5pm deadline: “Charlie has been kept fully in the picture of what is going on and he is getting on with the job of preparing to play at Kettering tomorrow.”
