Eastbourne Borough will play in the first ever game at The Amex after beating County Leaguers Crawley Down 5-2 in tonight's Sussex Senior Cup semi-final at Lancing.

They will face either Albion Reserves or Horsham in the final on July 16 in the match chosen as the first to be staged at Falmer.

Richard Pacquette opened the scoring on 12 minutes when he tapped into an empty net after Steven Brinkhurst's shot came back off the base of the far post and two minutes later Matt Crabb turned the ball home from six yards from George Purcell's corner.

The Anvils battled hard but fell further behind on 62 minutes with a fine finish from Ethan Strevett.

Nick Sullivan pulled one back with 18 minutes remaining only for George Purcell to immediately restore Borough's three-goal advantage.

With nine minutes left Wes Millis headed home a second for Crawley Down but Borough had the final word two minutes into stoppage time when substitute Jamie Taylor headed home a corner.
