Albion will honour one of Sussex football’s longest serving managers as part of their pre-season schedule.
The Seagulls will play a testimonial for John Maggs against Horsham at Worthing on Wednesday, July, 13, one of four fixtures against Sussex non-league sides.
Maggs recently parted company with Hornets after 11 years’ service and was previously player, manager and chairman during a marathon stint with Crawley Town.
The Seagulls open their build-up to the Championship by going to Burgess Hill on Sunday, July 10 (1pm).
They play Whitehawk at a venue to be confirmed on Friday, July 15, and the development squad take on Eastbourne Borough in the Senior Cup final at The Amex the following day (3pm).
Albion then have a week training on the Algarve.
