Albion have clinched the signing of long-time target Will Hoskins on two-year deal.
The Bristol Rovers striker, who scored 20 goals for a relegated side in League One last season, has completed his move to The Amex for an undisclosed fee.
His arrival was confirmed just hours after the Seagulls officially parted company with out-of-contract top scorer Glenn Murray.
Hoskins was close to signing for Albion on loan, with a view to buy, in March and has been on Gus Poyet's radar since last summer.
Rovers pulled out of the loan deal when they were unable to secure a replacement.
The 25-year-old from Nottingham had one year left on his Rovers contract.
