Albion Reserves slumped to a 5-0 defeat against Crawley Reserves at Bewbush today.

Adam El-Abd captained Albion on his return from a seven-month injury lay-off but the Seagulls were 4-0 down at half time to goals from Jon-Paul Pittman (two), Akpan Hope and John Akinde.

El-Abd went off at half-time, as scheduled, before Michael Doughty added the fifth for Reds in the 53rd minute.

Romain Vincelot, Will Buckley, Kazenga LuaLua and Matt Sparrow all got 90 minutes for a strong Albion side, while Ashley Barnes and Will Hoskins both played 77 minutes.
