Crawley Town boss Steve Evans has confirmed he has had bids for two strikers turned down.

Evans made moves for Heart of Midlothian striker Ryan Stevenson and Oxford United’s James Constable but both were rejected.

The Reds boss also confirmed he was still hopeful he would retain the services of striker Tyrone Barnett despite several Championship clubs making written offers inside the last 48 hours.
