Crawley striker Tyrone Barnett has turned down a move to Peterborough United.

It is the second time in the space of ten days that the 26-year-old has rejected a move to a Championship club after failing to agree personal terms on a £900,000 transfer to Blackpool last weekend.

There is increasing speculation that at least one of Crawley's strike pairing of Barnett and Matt Tubbs will leave before the close of the transfer window tomorrow night.

Reds have rejected three offers from Bournemouth for Tubbs with the League One side thought to be considering making a fourth approach after the striker netted the winner in the FA Cup victory over Hull at the weekend.

Crawley boss Steve Evans is making preparations for any departures with reports suggesting a deal to bring West Ham striker Frank Nouble to Broadfield Stadium is imminent. Nouble is an England under-19 international who has scored six goals on loan for Gillingham this season.

Burton Albion striker Billy Kee has also turned down a move to Crawley.

Burton boss Paul Peschisolido said: "Crawley have made an approach for Billy Kee with a substantial offer. We have spoken to Billy and he feels it would not be the right move for him at this time."
