Gus Poyet is glad peace has broken out between Liverpool and Manchester United over the Luis Suarez affair ahead of Albion's FA Cup fifth round trip to Anfield on Sunday.
The Seagulls' chief said: "I'm pleased that it's over, that Liverpool and Manchester United agree and the line is finished, because it was going too far."
Suarez has apologised for not shaking the hand of Patrice Evra, the Manchester United defender he was found guilty of racially abusing, at Old Trafford on Saturday.
Poyet, who acts as a mentor to Suarez, caused controversy earlier in the season by defending his fellow Uruguayan and labelling Evra a cry baby following the racism incident at Anfield.
