Leo Ulloa is convinced Albion will put things right after a slow start to the season.
The big striker, who has scored in both Championship matches so far, believes the Seagulls are still a work in progress.
Ulloa put them ahead against Derby yesterday but the Rams claimed a 2-1 win.
He said: “We are getting there slowly but there are things not going for us.
“We have injuries, we have players still arriving.
“When we get into rhythm we will be fine."
Ulloa, who also hit the inside of the post yesterday, is enjoying the service being provided by Oscar Garcia's team.
He said: “The coach wants to play with the ball on the ground, he wants to make space for the wide players and he wants us to get the ball into the area.
“But it takes time to get into rhythm."
