Albion have been inundated with requests from lower league clubs to take young striker Ben Dickenson on loan.

Boss Gus Poyet said: "The player everyone has been calling about a lot is Ben Dickenson. It looks like everyone in League One and League Two wants him.

"Unfortunately, Ben has been out for a few weeks with an ankle injury. He is just rejoining training.

"I am sure if we want him to go next Monday he will have plenty of friends, because there are many, many people that have been interested in him. They have been calling constantly."

Dickenson, 19, has been playing for the development squad since Albion bought him from Dorchester for an undisclosed five-figure fee in January.
