Craig Mackail-Smith has volunteered to put himself on the spot again for Albion.
The Seagulls’ nine-goal leading marksman had a penalty saved against Leeds at The Amex after scoring from the spot earlier in the same game and before that at Watford.
Stephen Dobbie took over at Wolves and scored but Ashley Barnes had a penalty saved against Bolton on Saturday, with Dobbie on the bench.
Mackail-Smith said: “I am happy to put myself back in the frame. Dobbo took one at Wolves and scored a fantastic penalty. Ashley believed he could take one and sadly didn’t put it away.
“It was whoever felt confident. Ash got the ball. I wish I’d got it. He took it and that is the way it goes. Next game I’ll make sure I grab hold of that ball.”
