Albion have made three chances to face Derby today – and brought back Vicente on the bench.
Will Buckley, Inigo Calderon and Tomasz Kuszczak replace Craig Mackail-Smith, Gary Dicker and Casper Ankergren from the XI which started against Newcastle last week.
The changes are likely to see Calderon play at right-back and David Lopez move further forward.
Vicente could see his first action since the opening week of the Championship campaign.
His season so far has been ruined by a persistent thigh problem.
Craig Mackail-Smith's absecne is understood to be due to concern over his hamstring.
Derby dangerman Jamie Ward has recovered from a hamstring injury sufficiently to be on the bench.
The Rams are likely to use versatile John Brayford, often a right-back, in midfield as they go 4-5-1.
Albion: Kuszczak; Calderon, Greer, El-Abd, Bridge; Bridcutt, Hammond, David Lopez, Orlandi; Buckley, Barnes. Subs: Ankergren, Dunk, Hoskins, Crofts, Vicente, Dicker, LuaLua.
Derby: Legzdins; Freeman, Keogh, O’Brien, Roberts; Coutts, Brayford, Hughes, Kendrick, Davies; Sammon. Subs: Fielding, O’Connor, Tyson, Ward, Robinson, Jacobs, Bennett.
