Gus Poyet has been charged with improper conduct by the FA.
The charge against the Albion manager is connected to his side’s 3-0 win over Crystal Palace 11 days ago.
He has the Easter weekend to consider his next move and has until 4pm on Tuesday to respond to the FA.
The charge is believed to relate to comments made by Poyet regarding the appointment of referee Craig Pawson for the derby.
