Andrew Crofts was at the centre of the action as Albion drew 0-0 at Peterborough tonight.

Posh thought the Welsh international should have been sent off as he slid in on the goalbound Lee Tomlin in the second half – but ref Robert Madley ruled he got a touch to the ball and waved play on.

The former Peterorough loanee then almost won the game in the 90th minute when he headed against the bar.

Matt Upson headed David’s corner against the underside of the bar in the first period.

But the hosts also had chances to win a tense encounter.

The best fell to Tommy Rowe, who somehow shot wide of an open goal from close range in the second half.
