Ashley Barnes has been given an immediate chance to make a positive impact after his seven-game ban.
The striker starts in place of Leo Ulloa as Albion host Blackpool at The Amex.
Will Buckley comes back into the side after a hamstring injury, taking over from Andrew Crofts.
Vicente and Bruno also return to the 18 after injuries of differing timescales. Inigo Calderon’s displays in Bruno’s absence ensure he keeps the right-back berth.
Barnes has not seen action since his dismissal for attempting to trip up the referee at Bolton six weeks ago.
Blackpool name an unchanged side as they chase the point they feel they still need to ensure survival.
Albion: Kuszczak; Calderon, Greer, Upson, Bridge; Bridcutt, Hammond, David Lopez; Buckley, Barnes, Orlandi. Subs: Ankergren, El-Abd, Bruno, Crofts, Vicente, LuaLua, Ulloa.
