Albion defender Adam El-Abd has missed out on Egypt’s squad for their forthcoming World Cup fixtures.
Coach Bob Bradley has named a provisional 30-man party for qualifiers against Zimbabwe and Mozambique.
They will also tackle a warm-up friendly against Botswana.
El-Abd’s absence from the Albion team in the closing weeks of the season cost him his national squad place.
