Charlie Oatway has left Albion by mutual consent.

First team coach Oatway was suspended by the club at the end of the season along with manager Gus Poyet and assistant Mauricio Taricco.

Poyet was subsequently sacked, although he has indicated he intends to appeal the decision.

Taricco's suspension was later lifted and he returned to work, although he left the club last week, also by mutual consent.

Oatway initially joined Albion as a player in 1999. He was later involved with the club's charitable arm Albion in the Community before becoming first team coach in November 2009.

A statement by the club read: "The club would like to sincerely thank Charlie for his hard work, commitment and dedication since he joined the club in 1999."

It added: "We wish him all the very best for the future and are confident he will have a long and successful career ahead of him."
