Former Albion manager Gus Poyet has been back to Brighton to say farewell to his players and staff.
They attended a get-together arranged by Poyet at Cote restaurant opposite The Dome in Church Street on Tuesday.
The Kent-based Uruguayan made it known he would be there to say goodbye.
A source told The Argus: “A lot of players turned up and that tells you what they think of him.”
Poyet was forbidden from speaking to players and members of staff during his suspension by the club.
He was sacked for gross misconduct after an internal investigation and failed with an appeal against the verdict.
