Two of Albion’s international defenders are likely to be back on the bench tomorrow.

But both Gordon Greer and Stephen Ward have done their chances of further action for their nations no harm.

Greer made his Scotland debut against the USA in a 0-0 draw on Friday and Ward returned to the Republic of Ireland side which cruised past Latvia 3-0.

Both produced solid performances but are expected to be among the substitutes as the Scots and Irish look at more players in Norway and Poland respectively.

Craig Conway, who started for the Scots against the USA, could also be on the bench with Dundee United youngster Gary Mackay-Steven expected to get a chance.

Albion back-up defender Vitalijs Maksimenko is likely to feature for Latvia when they play Yeovil in a friendly at Huish Park tonight.
