Albion held the Championship leaders today – and could even have nicked a win.
The Seagulls drew 0-0 at Nottingham Forest and gave goalkeeper David Stockdale a relatively comfortable afternoon.
Stockdale was forced into just one testing save, adjusting well to tip away a Robert Tesche drive which took a significant deflection off Danny Holla in the first half.
Albion defended well in front of him and offered intermittent threat on the counter-attack.
Home keeper Karl Darlow got down to make comfortable saves from Joe Bennett and Adrian Colunga in the first half.
Michael Mancienne sliced a clearance from Adrian Colunga's cross inches past his own post.
And Craig Mackail-Smith curled wide in the closing stages.
Albion had to work hard – and saw Mancienne head a good chance over in added time.
But they fully deserved their point.
