Sami Hyypia praised his Albion side for getting things right in the second half as they claimed a good point today.
The Seagulls boss felt his side improved after the break in their 0-0 draw at Nottingham Forest, who were top before play.
Hyypia said: “I’m very pleased with the point. Maybe before the game if somebody said ‘Take a point!’ you’d take it.
“We need to analyse our game. I think the second half was much better than the first half.
“In the first half we didn’t have the urgency defending, we didn’t have the urgency attacking.
“We didn’t play quickly enough and we made it more difficult for ourselves to play football. We can’t afford to do that.
“It was a good reaction from the players in the second half.
“We did everything a little bit quicker and we started to have some chances as well.”
Hyypia revealed Sam Baldock missed the game because of a minor calf problem.
