Albion have been told they came up against one of the best goalkeepers in the country tonight.
The Seagulls drew 1-1 with Cardiff City, for whom David Marshall made a string of fine saves.
Marshall was particularly impressive in the second half as he...
- 52: Kept out Joe Bennett’s diving header from close range.
- 53: Got down to his right to push away Lewis Dunk’s header.
- 59: Saved a Gary Gardner shot.
- 67: Stuck out a hand diving low to his left to turn aside Bennett’s right-footed prod goalwards.
- 72: Dived low to his right to save another Gardner drive, this time deflected.
Cardiff’s caretaker boss Scott Young said: “We weren’t surprised.
“For me he is undoubtedly the best at this level and probably among the top five or six at the next level.”
