Albion's under-21s have, like the first team, been hit by a centre-half crisis as Kemy Agustien tries to help them to a first win in five games at Bolton tonight (7pm).
The Dutch midfielder, missing from first team action since suffering an ankle injury in the victory at Leeds in August, lines up for a side missing regular centre-half pairing Danny Pappoe and captain Glen Rea.
Pappoe begins a three-match ban, Rea a one-game suspension, after they were both sent-off in the last away fixture at Newcastle.
Goalkeeper Josh Smith and left-back Rob Hunt were also dismissed in last week's home defeat by Reading but they are in the squad which has travelled to Lancashire. Their suspensions do not commence until next Monday.
Albion (4-1-2-3): Doherty; Barry, Dallison, Barclay, Hunt; Toko; Agustien, Starkey; Fenelon, Kandi, Cole. Subs: Muitt, Smith, Harris, Wiltshire, Deen.
