ALBION TEAM NEWS

The hosts make four changes. In come Christian Walton, Inigo Calderon, Elliott Bennett and Kazenga LuaLua. Out go Ali Al-Habsi, Aaron Hughes (injured), Adrian Colunga and Danny Holla. We wondered whether Elliott Bennett would play. It looks he will be one of two wide players either side of Sam Baldock. How wide he stays remains to be seen. Walton returns in goal for the ineligible Al-Habsi and the side has four predominantly attacking players as opposed to the three at Bournemouth. It will be intriguing what that means in practice but here is a possible formation.

CALDERON GREER DUNK J.BENNETT

  GARDNER FORSTER-CASKEY  TEIXEIRA

  E.BENNETT BALDOCK LUALUA

WIGAN TEAM NEWS

There is some doubt as to how Wigan will line up at the back after losing central defender Leon Barnett to suspension. Even their own local reporters seem slightly puzzled after seeing the team sheet. The most likely is that James Perch will play in the middle on his return from a hip injury. There is also the option of three at the back and wing backs.

BIG QUESTION

Will Elliott Bennett give fans and players alike a timely lift? Be honest - if someone had told you on Friday morning that Albion were about use up a loan spot on a small, nippy, tricky attacking player who can create and bring others into play but is not a penalty box predator, what would you have said? But Bennett has a glorious history with the Seagulls and he is also a buzzing, upbeat personality who will have a good effect in the changing room.

TONIGHT’S REF

Lee Collins takes charge of Albion for the first time. He most recently did Port Vale v Leyton Orient.
