Gary Gardner insists he never had any doubts Albion would return to the winning trail.
The midfielder on loan from Aston Villa opened his account for the club to secure a 1-0 success over Wigan last night.
It was Albion's first league win since August and their first since he arrived at the Amex.
Gardner said: "It's a massive win for us. We didn't play as well as we have been but we got the result and that's the main thing.
"I've never had any doubts in the team's performance.
"The gaffer has been working really hard, we are all sticking together and we are buzzing.
"The gaffer is top class here and we will kick on up that table, I know we will."
Gardner has mainly shot from outside the box during his time with Albion.
But he was in the penalty area inside the first minute to open the scoring against the Latics.
He revealed: "I like to get get in the box and we tweaked the formation for me to do that."
