A former Albion footballer will be braving the elements as he spends a night sleeping rough on the streets for charity.

Former Seagulls defender Guy Butters, who played more than 180 games for the club during a six year spell in the 2000s, will be sleeping rough in Hove on Saturday night with just warm clothing, a sleeping bag and a cardboard box.

The 45-year-old is raising money for homeless charity Off The Fence and has already raised half of his £750 fundraising target.
