Two goals from Burnley striker Danny Ings on his home ground helped secure a 3-1 success over Portugal in a friendly at Turf Moor.
Joao Teixeira, recalled to the squad for this game, was sent on as an 83rd-minute substitute for Portugal.
Albion youth teamer Dessie Hutchinson was an unused sub for the Republic of Ireland under-19s as they beat Malta 1-0 in a Euro qualifier in Waterford.
