Albion have been drawn away to fellow Championship club Brentford in the third round of the FA Cup.
The Seagulls will be seeking revenge for their 3-2 defeat at Griffin Park in the League earlier in the season.
Brentford, promoted from League One last season, are fifth in the table, 16 points above third-bottom Albion, thanks to a strong home record.
The tie, which takes place over the weekend beginning Saturday January 3, means Albion face a hat-trick of away games in succession in London over the Christmas and New Year period.
They visit Fulham on Monday December 29 and Charlton on Saturday January 10.
