Beram Kayal made a goalscoring debut for Albion today.
The former Celtic midfielder equalised in the 82nd minute with a deflected free-kick in a 1-1 draw for the under-21s against AFC Wimbledon at the Lancing training complex.
Kayal came on for the second half in place of Kazenga LuaLua, who had his first run-out since suffering knee trouble at the end of November.
Dale Stephens also played for an hour as he continues his comeback from nine months out with ankle damage.
Kayal's strike cancelled out Dan Agyei's 47th minute goal for Wimbledon.
Kayal and LuaLua are now in contention for Nottingham Forest's visit on Saturday.
Albion (4-1-2-3): Doherty; Barry, Dallison, Barclay, Hunt; Rea; Stephens (Fenelon 61), Starkey; Davis, Deen (Muitt 70), LuaLua (Kayal 46). Subs not used: Smith, Harris.
