Albion will be without Solly March for the second match running at Sheffield Wednesday tomorrow.
March is back in training and should be available for Birmingham's visit to the Amex a week on Saturday.
He will not be risked at Hillsborough after suffering a calf injury in the early stages of last Saturday's home defeat by Nottingham Forest.
That ruled March out of Tuesday's draw at Cardiff, where boss Chris Hughton revised the righthand side of the team by shifting Joao Teixeira, switching Bruno into central midfield and reverting Inigo Calderon to full-back.
Hughton previously used Calderon ahead of fellow Spaniard Bruno on the right flank.
