Reading's Scottish under-17s international Jake Sheppard caught out the Seagulls' under-18s in spectacular style from 70 yards when the clubs met at the training complex and academy in Lancing on Saturday.
Skipper Sheppard's Beckhamesque strike in the closing moments helped sentence Albion's youngsters to a 2-0 defeat.
