DALE STEPHENS acknowledges Albion have to stop their habit of conceding so soon after scoring.

But the comeback midfielder also knows the Seagulls cannot dwell on their failure to beat Wolves as they prepare for a huge game at Millwall tomorrow night.

Albion had to settle for a 1-1 draw at home to Wolves after conceding just four minutes after taking a 70th-minute lead.

It has been a recurring theme of Albion’s season that they have let in goals soon after scoring.

On 15 occasions this season – now seven under Chris Hughton – they have let in goals within ten minutes of finding the net themselves.

Stephens, who was making his first start for 11 months, said: “From our point of view, it is a disappointing goal to concede, especially so soon after going 1-0 up.

“The gaffer has spoken to us about it. It has happened a few times now. It is something we are conscious of and something we have got to put right.

“It is disappointing but we have to move on, we have games to win coming up.”
