FRANK SINATRA won a standing ovation from his Scots fans when he performed at Ibrox stadium in 1990.
Although at first the idea of Ol' Blue Eyes singing at the football stadium seemed about as likely as Rangers performing at the Sands casino in Vegas, come the night, both Sinatra and the crowd were in fine voice.
Observers said Frank gave one of the last truly great performances of his long and successful career.
For the fans lucky enough to secure a ticket for the gig, it was a night they would remember for the rest of their lives.
