Albion boss Chris Hughton has urged his players to produce a last day performance for the suffering travelling army of fans.
More than 30,000 have followed the team up and down the country in a dismal season of scraping to Championship survival.
Almost 600 tickets have been sold for today's meaningless trek to the North-East against Middlesbrough (12.15).
The early kick-off meant an early hours start for those travelling by coach.
The club are rewarding the away fans' loyalty with £6 worth of free refreshments.
Hughton wants his players to reward them with a surprise finale as Boro bid for a win to cement third place.
Hughton said: "We've got a big support going a long way for a game that doesn't really hold too much for them in a season that has been difficult.
"Firstly it's for ourselves that we can hopefully finish the season with a good performance and result but also for the supporters who have been very good I think all season.
"We’ve all felt their frustrations but they have to travel a long way most games so certainly for our supporters we want to play well in this game."
