Albion goalkeeper David Stockdale has told fans he was “gutted” with the equaliser he conceded at Reading today.
But he vowed to keep working hard – and quickly received backing from plenty of supporters.
Stockdale tweeted soon after the 1-1 draw at Reading saying he felt his team mates deserved more than a point.
Reading dragged themselves level when Matej Vydra pounced after Stockdale spilled a shot.
But the goalkeeper had earlier saved an Oliver Norwood free-kick and a low Nick Blackman shot with his foot.
His presence also seemed to force Vydra into an ill-advised pass when Reading looked certain to score on a counter attack.
The lads deserved more than the draw today..... Gutted with the goal.... Will keep working hard... Great turn out from the fans as usual👍
