Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe is playing hard ball in Albion's bid to re-sign Glenn Murray.
He says Murray will be named in the Cherries' 25-man Premier League squad on Tuesday and will not be allowed to leave on loan.
Albion have targeted the loan return of Murray in late February so that he would be available for the play-offs.
Howe wants to keep hold of him for his goalscoring acumen off the bench in Bournemouth's fight for Premier League survival.
Albion could not sign Murray permanently until the summer, even if they wanted to. He has already played for two clubs - Crystal Palace and Bournemouth - on that basis this season, the maximum permitted by regulations.
