Solly March further built his match fitness with 90 minutes as Albion under-23s drew 1-1 with Norwich at Crawley tonight.

March, hoping for a recall to the first team 18 at Bristol City on Saturday, started on the right flank and switched to the left for the final half-hour.

He was at the origin off a super move from which Elvis Manu put the Seagulls into a 27th minute lead.

But Sergi Canos levelled ten minutes later with a near-post flick from a needlessly conceded corner.

Manu struck from a precise low cross delivered by George Cox after March and Jesse Starkey had set Albion moving from midway inside their own half.

The former Feyenoord man also had the best chance of the second half, shooting too close to goalkeeper Ben Killip from close range after Will Collar’s free-kick had been headed back across goal by Ben White.
