Albion midfielder Oliver Norwood says there is no such thing as a friendly for rejventated Northern Ireland.
He insists tonight's clash against Croatia in Belfast will be treated as seriously as Friday's 4-0 World Cup qualifying win against Azerbaijan in which he won his 42nd cap for his country.
Norwood said: "We will be treating it as another game we want to win again. Croatia are a top team with quality players and we go into the match just as prepared and focused as if there were qualifying points at stake.
"There will be just as much pressure on us as there was against Azerbaijan as expectations have been raised considerably over the past few seasons.
"We know it will be difficult but these are the type of games you want to play in and test yourself against top class players.
"We don't want to lose our unbeaten record at home. It's been over three years since we last lost at Windsor Park."
Norwood has made seven starts and seven sub appearances for Albion in the Championship since signing from Reading in August.
He is the only outstanding international concern for manager Chris Hughton ahead of Aston Villa's visit on Friday.
