Chris Hughton hailed a game-changing moment of magic which sent Albion on the way to a dramatic win.
Sam Baldock’s super volley dragged the Seagulls level on their way to a 2-1 home success over Fulham before another sell-out at the Amex.
The hosts were second best before the break but came back to take the points through Baldock and strike partner Glenn Murray.
Boss Hughton said of Baldock’s finish: “It was terrific technique and it was much needed.
“Particularly at home, we know that’s the goal that changes the game.
“It changes the momentum, it lifts the crowd and it puts Fulham on the back foot.
“Apart from the fact it was technically a very good goal, it was one we needed and one that allowed us to go on and win the game.”
He added: “I thought they were two very good goals.”
