ALBION will sanction a drop to League One for Rohan Ince if it increases his chances of game time.
A loan move to another Championship club fell through last week but there is other interest in the fringe midfielder, including from the third tier.
Manager Chris Hughton said: “I think come the end of the (January) window he will go somewhere. He was close to going somewhere a week ago, which didn’t materialise, but there have been lots of enquiries about him. If he doesn’t go it gives us more options but I do think it is one that will happen over the window.”
Ince had a spell on loan to Fulham last season.
Hughton said: “The higher the level the better, but probably more important than that is somewhere he is going to get the games.
“He went on loan to Fulham last season and ironically was involved in the three games where there was a little change in the way they played that turned their season around a little bit. In the end he didn’t play enough games.”
