Albion will have to wait to see more of summer signing Izzy Brown.

The attacking player on loan from Chelsea has been ruled out of Saturday’s trip to Leicester Cty with a hamstring problem.

Brown has spent this week back with his parent club after going off early in the opening day defeat to Manchester City.

The Seagulls, who go to Watford seven days later, hope to further assess him next week.

But boss Chris Hughton said that would to continue his recovery rather than be pitched straight back into the Premier League fray.

Hughton said today: "We're hoping to have him back here (from Chelsea) next week but that will be to continue his rehab."

Beram Kayal and Sam Baldock also miss the Leicester trip but Anthony Knockaert could make his first start of the season as Albion take on his old club.
