Albion today rejected another offer for Tomer Hemed.
The Seagulls have turned down a substantial bid from Reading, The Argus understands.
Hemed, currently away with the Israeli national squad, has attracted interest from the Royals and other Championship clubs.
Albion would not let him go if their current search for strikers does not bring desired results.
However it is understood the latest bid for Hemed did not match their valuation, irrespective of their search for attacking recruits
