Albion will face a Manchester United defence still missing the injured Eric Bailly and Phil Jones at Old Trafford tomorrow.
And star duo Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba are likely to play only part of the match following their recent returns from long absences.
Bailly and Jones both missed Wednesday's 1-0 Champions League defeat in Basel, which followed last Saturday's 4-1 destruction of Newcastle.
Jose Mourinho is not worried about their continuing absences after Argentinian Marcos Rojo made an impressive comeback from seven months on the sidelines in Switzerland.
Mourinho, speaking to MUTV, said: "Bailly and Jones - they are out, but we are okay because we have Smalling, Rojo and Lindelof.
"We managed to give (Ibrahimovic) 15/20 minutes in both matches, he needs more of that, so hopefully tomorrow we play him again.
"Paul is still on this process where he cannot reach the fatigue limit, he cannot go more than 65/70 minutes and, with so many games consecutively, we need to protect such an important player for us."
