Albion boss Gus Poyet is relishing the chance to pit his wits against two former England managers.
Sven Goran Eriksson at Leicester and newly appointed Steve McClaren at Nottingham Forest are among the rivals Poyet will be trying to get the better of with the promoted Seagulls in the Championship next season.
He told The Argus: “It’s great. I was always looking at how they do. Sven has managed some of the best teams in the world, so you always think you can learn something from them.
“It’s going to be great to have a chat, talk to them after games and see how their teams play. It’s good experience for me.
“I am told the Championship has the fifth highest attendances in Europe behind the Premier League and the top leagues in Spain, Germany and Italy. That shows how tough it is. It’s like being a manager in the top league in any other country in Europe. I am looking forward to it without any doubt.”
