Albion chief Gus Poyet has warned potential Premier League suitors they would have to pay a high price for Lewis Dunk.
The centre half prospect has been outstanding so far this season and shone again in today's 1-0 win at Bristol City.
Poyet said: "They are going to have to pay. Everybody has got a price and Dunky has got a price, because he is in the team and because of the way he is playing.
"Sometimes you can't keep players forever. We couldn't do it with Crofty (Andrew Crofts) and he's a Premiership player. We couldn't do it with Elliott Bennett and he's a Premiership player.
"If that happens and he is going to go and play in the Premiership that is something I cannot control. I can control it while he is here and make sure he does his basics."
